VR is a simulation of a computer-generated world, requiring use of a device such as the Oculus Rift or Google Cardboard (with a mobile device). Once users are engaged with these devices, they can interact with and explore the environment around them.
Augmented RealityAR is a view of a live environment, supplemented by other computer-generated features, such as graphics, video or sound. Pokemon Go, for example, is an example of the mixed reality created through AR.
360 video is defined as non-stereoscopic, where users can view an environment in 360 by either moving their mobile device, or shifting the video with their fingers.
We have developed this technology, which integrates interactive elements throughout a simulated or live experience. Hotspots or easter eggs can be embedded, which allow users to uncover additional information, imagery or video, as well as link out to external destinations.
Click 3X is famous for developing photo-real as well as stylized CGI environments – often incorporating animation. This can include natural landscapes, cloth & fur, liquids, particles etc. – all animated in Maya and rendered with our in-house render farm that utilizes feature film standard rendering and render management software.
